NEW LOCATION! Ruby’s Pantry June and July, Community Center
Ruby’s Pantry is a food distribution program held 5 – 6:30 p.m., every second Tuesday. New location for June and July – Cook County Community Center. $20 (cash only) per share. Buy more shares as you want. No financial qualifications. Bring a laundry basket and cooler to bring home frozen items. Sponsored by Spirit of the Wilderness Church. Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services offer their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9 to 11 a.m. First come, first served. The cost is $10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet.
Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screenings on Tuesday, August 1 at Cook County Whole Foods Co-op from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and at the Senior Center from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and blood sugars cost $3.
