Community Conversation on Water Quality Priorities for the North Shore of Lake Superior

We are in the process of completing a 10-year plan to protect, improve and conserve the water resources in the Lake Superior basin on the North Shore of Lake Superior. We would like to present what we’ve developed so far and provide you with the opportunity to comment on the plan. Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic

The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services offer their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9 to 11 a.m. First come, first served. The cost is $10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet.

Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening

The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screenings on Tuesday, December 6 Cook County Whole Foods Co-op, 9:15-10:15 a.m. and at the Senior Center from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and blood sugars cost $3.
