Cook County Ruby’s Pantry

Ruby’s Pantry is a food distribution program held 5 – 6:30 p.m., every second Tuesday: May 10, June 14, July 12, August, September 13, October 11. Parking at Sawtooth Elementary. $20 (cash only) per share. Buy more shares as you want. No financial qualifications. Bring a laundry basket and cooler to bring home frozen items. Sponsored by Spirit of the Wilderness Church. Volunteers always needed. $20 gift certificates have been donated to help those short on cash – just ask cashier. Donations always welcome!

Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic

The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services offer their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9 to 11 a.m. First come, first served. The cost is $10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet.

Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening

The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screenings on May 3, 1030-11:30 a.m. Cook County Community YMCA and at the Senior Center from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and blood sugars cost $3.
