Cook County Ruby’s Pantry is a surplus food distribution program. 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. Every second Tuesday of the month (Jan. 12, Feb. 9, Mar. 8). Please use elementary school for parking. $20 cash only per share – buy more shares as you want, no financial qualifications. Bring a laundry basket and a cooler to bring home frozen items. Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services offer their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9 to 11 a.m. First come, first served. The cost is $10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet.
Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screenings on February 2, Java Moose from 9:15- 10:15 a.m. and at the Senior Center from 10:30- 11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and blood sugars cost $3.
