Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and the Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services offer Foot Care Clinics at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. First come, first served. A Foot Care Clinic is also offered by appointment on the second Tuesday of each month at the Birch Grove Center in Tofte, from 12:00 – 12:45 p.m. Call (218) 387-2330 for an appointment. Annual Community Cross Walk and Good Friday Service
The annual Community Cross Walk procession will begin at the Evangelical Free Church at 6:00 PM on Friday April 2nd. This year’s route will take us south to Highway 61, then along Wisconsin St. through downtown, to the Java Moose parking lot. Next, up 3rd Ave. W to the First Congregational UCC, then on to the community center, then to Bethlehem Lutheran Church and on to St. John’s Catholic Church where the Community Good Friday service will be held at 7:00 PM. Rev. Dave Harvey of the Evangelical Free Church will speak. The community is encouraged to attend both events. Walkers may join the Cross Walk at any location along the route. 3/27-4/3b
