Cook County Ruby’s Pantry

Cook County Ruby’s Pantry is a surplus food distribution program. New time 5:00-6:30 p.m. Every second Tuesday of the month. (Oct. 13, Nov. 10, Dec. 8). Elementary school parking. $20 cash only per share – buy more shares as you want, no financial qualifications. Bring a laundry basket and a cooler to bring home frozen items. Public meeting to consider sale of Cedar Grove Business Park

The Cook County/Grand Marais Economic Development Authority (EDA) will hold a public meeting, September 18 at 4 p.m. at Grand Marais City Hall to consider the sale of Cedar Grove Business Park, Lot 3, Block 5. Any members of the public wishing to make comment may do so at this time.

Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic

The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services offer their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9 to 11 a.m. First come, first served. The cost is $10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet.

Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening

The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screenings on October 6, Moon Dance Coffee House, Lutsen from 9:00-10:00 a.m. and at the Senior Center from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and blood sugars cost $3.
