The Donkeys are coming!
The Cook County High School Band is hosting Donkeyball, Monday, April 6, 6 p.m. to raise funds for the 2016 band trip. One game will be a match between Cook County Law Enforcement and the Grand Marais Fire Department. Donkey rides will be available at halftime for kids 12 and under. Tickets $9 at the door or $7 in advance at Mike’s Holiday, Arrowhead Pharmacy or the Cook County Schools office, or from CCHS band members.
6th Annual Easter Egg Fundraiser for KIDS PLUS
Saturday, April 4 at the CC Community Center and 4H Log Cabin Building in Grand Marais. Brunch, youth activities (9 a.m. – noon), Easter Egg Hunt 10 a.m., Scavenger Hunt 10:30 a.m., raffle with $300, $100 and $50 prizes at noon, dessert walk, visit with the Easter Bunny, lots of fun! Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services offer their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9 to 11 a.m. First come, first served. The cost is $10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet.
Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screenings on April 7 at the Cook County Whole Foods Co-op from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and at the Senior Center from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and blood sugars cost $3.
