annual meeting and presentation
The public is invited to attend the annual meeting
of the Library Friends of Cook County at the Grand
Marais Library, Wednesday, October 15, 8:30 to
9:30 a.m. There will be a short business meeting
followed by a presentation by Steve Harsin, director
of the library. His topic is Farms, Body Farms and
Books. Refreshments will be served. The Library
Friends helps support the public library and all
school libraries in the county. Please join us!

Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County

will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar
screenings on Tuesday, November 4 at the Grand
Marais Pool from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and at the Senior
Center from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures
are free and blood sugars cost $3. For more

Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month,

$10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak
