Hovland Volunteer Fire Department
Annual Board Meeting
You’re invited to the Hovland Volunteer Fire
Department Annual Board Meeting. Wednesday,
September 3, 6:00 p.m. at the Hovland Town Hall.
BBQ & potluck starts 6:00 p.m., followed by the
Annual Board Meeting. There will be a drawing to
give away five carbon monoxide/smoke detectors.

Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services
will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar
screenings on Tuesday, September 2 at YMCA from
9:15-10:15 a.m. and at the Senior Center from
10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and
blood sugars cost $3. For more information please

Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services
offer their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais
Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month,
from 9 to 11 a.m. First come, first served. The cost is
$10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak
your feet.

Wednesdays 10 a.m.: WOMEN’S MENTAL HEALTH
