The Lake County Sex Trafficking Task Force
Will be at Lutsen Lutheran Church next Wednesday,
August 13th to discuss the issue of underage sex
trafficking on the North Shore. This is an issue
that impacts all communities in our area. Lutsen
Lutheran Church will host a potluck supper at 5:30
p.m. with the 1 hour discussion beginning at 6:30
p.m. You are invited to join us. Lutsen Lutheran
Church is located on Hwy 61 just east of the

Grand Marais Garden Club Meeting Notice
The next meeting of the Grand Marais Garden Club
will be on Monday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the
Grand Marais Senior Center. There will be a short
business meeting followed by a garden tour to see
the gardens of two of our members, Sue Amondson
and Marilee Mielke. All meetings fo the Grand Marais
Garden Club are free and open to the public.

The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services
will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar
screenings on Tuesday, September 2 at YMCA
from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and at the Senior Center from
10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and blood

$10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak
