Cook County Republican Caucus
Cook County Republican BPOU will meet to caucus
on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. at the log schoolhouse at
the Community Center.

Auditions for Our Town
The Grand Marais Playhouse will hold auditions
for Thorton Wilder’s Our Town on Tuesday, January
28 at 7 p.m. at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts.
Auditions are open to the entire community, not
just high school age. The play requires a large mixed
cast. There is no set. Actors mime most of the props.
Performances will be one weekend only! March 6 – 9,
2014. Rehearsals will be Sunday – Thursday evenings
7-8:30 p.m. Individual schedule will be determined
by role.

Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services
will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar
screenings on Tuesday, February 4 at Java Moose
from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and at the Senior Center from
10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free and blood
sugars cost $3. For more information please visit

Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services offer
their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior
Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9 to
11 a.m. First come, first served. The cost is $10. Bring
your own soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet.

Weekly Drop-In Support Groups
Wednesdays 10 a.m.: Living with Depression and
Anxiety. Suggested donation $2.

Thursdays 5:30 p.m.: Women in Transitions
