“Walking Wednesday” continues!
“Walking Wednesday” Walking School Bus continues
for students either walking or driving their bikes to
school. Children and parents can “get aboard” the
Walking School Bus each Wednesday at three locations:
8th Ave W & 2nd Street – 7: 20 a.m.; Cook County
courthouse – 7:20 a.m.; or 7th Ave. East and County
Road 7 – 7:30 a.m. All will be led by law enforcement.
Cider will be offered at the school upon arrival.

Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services offer
their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais Senior Center
on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9 -11 a.m.
First come, first served. The cost is $10. Bring your own
soap, towel, and bucket to soak your feet.
Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services will be
offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screenings
on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Moondance Coffee
Shop in Lutsen from 9:00-10:00 a.m. and at the Senior
Center from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures are free
and blood sugars cost $3. For more information please
