Ellie the Elephant at Grand Marais Library
Friday, April 12, 3:30 p.m. An adaptation of the fable
of the elephant and the blind men by Sarah Ruth
Diener. All are welcome.

Grand Marais Area Garden Club
The Garden Club will be holding its first meeting
of the year on Monday, April 8, at 10:00 a.m.
at the Senior Center. Diane Booth will make a
presentation, followed by the main speaker, Mike
Lynch, the invasive species coordinator for Cook
County. Visitors and new members are always
welcome.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers
An educational series to provide you with the tools
you need to take care of yourself. Six Thursday
sessions, 5 – 7:30 p.m., beginning April 11, lower
level classroom of the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic.
A donation of $25 for The Caregiver Helpbook,
suggested, but not required. For more information

Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services
offer their Foot Care Clinic at the Grand Marais
Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month,
from 9:00-11:00 a.m. First come, first served. The
cost is $10. Bring your own soap, towel, and bucket
to soak your feet.

Blood Pressure and Glucose Screening
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and Cook County
Department of Public Health & Human Services
will be offering Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar
screenings on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Grand
Marais Pool from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and at the Senior
Center from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Blood pressures
are free and blood sugars cost $3. For more
