Music Together North Shore
Is offering a free sample class of its parent/child music
program for children birth-kindergarten on Wednesday,
September 12 at 5 p.m. Demonstration classes are free but
registration is required. The 10-week fall session begins
September 19 with all new CDs and songbooks and

The Maple Hill Community Fire Department
Annual Meeting

What is your plan for keeping your home, land or
cabin in the family for the next generation?
How do you deal with the emotional aspects of family
members, legal ramifications and estate taxes? An all-day
workshop designed to walk families through this process is
being held by Cook County Extension on Friday, September
14, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Cook County
Senior Center in Grand Marais. The class includes two
workbooks, a DVD video, and lunch. Cost of attending this
class is $100 for your entire family – mom, dad, grandma,
