Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Foot Care Clinic
The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic and the Cook County Department of Public Health & Human Services offer Foot Care Clinics at the Grand Marais Senior Center on the third Tuesday of each month, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. First come, first served. A Foot Care Clinic is also offered by appointment on the second Tuesday of each month at the Birch Grove Center in Tofte, from 12:00 – 12:45 p.m. Call (218) 387-2330 for an appointment. Why Basic Health Care Should Be a Human Right
How can we heal our sick health care system? How can we make sense out of the many reform proposals? Please come to the first of three forums on health care at First Congregational Church (lower level), 2nd St and 3rd Ave. W., at 7:00 PM on Saturday Oct. 24th. Speakers will address “How our moral, spiritual and ethical values can help us in a search for just health care reform?” Two future forums will cover overcoming our fears and finding hope in health care reform and understanding the new Health Care reform legislation.
