Commissioners should be pro-business

In regards to the letter to the editor from Chuck Schmit last week, I was waiting for someone to break the ice and comment. I’m proud of ya Chuck!

Somebody that actually tells it like it is, wow. It seems that the current commissioners can’t decide what to do with the extra 1% tax money. This is not rocket building. If nothing else, give it to the sheriff ’s department, they could use it.

As far as the upcoming election for commissioner district 5, it is not hard to see who is most qualified for the job. We do not need someone who is anti-business, who is without the ability to do positive things for all people of Cook County. That leaves just one.

Paul James seems to be the only one running that actually has the ability to move forward in a positive manner on issues, and make them happen. We do not need special interest anybody on the board. Just someone who understands how screwed up things are and who actually wants to fix it. That simple.
