Commissioner confused about administrator

I guess we don’t have to worry about getting a county administrator for now. According to Commissioner Bruce Martinson’s answers in last week’s candidate feature, we have one in the form of our present board secretary/human resources director.

Thisguy is totally confused. He says we need one but not for three or four years until the board secretary leaves. In other words everything is hunky dory the way it is.

The board secretary is not qualified for the job. I suggest the commissioner go find out what an administrator does. Boy, are we in trouble. He doesn’t know what the credentials are for the job.

On another note, isn’t it something that our illustrious commissioners have all the answers for our issues in Cook County all of a sudden? Some have been around for over 12 years and have accomplished very few positive things for us. Do you really want another four years of this? We direly need new people on the Cook County board.

I would ask you to read how Martinson would handle the 1% sales tax revenues in his response to the questions by the News-Herald.
He should have been doing that all along. He’s in the seat to do so already.

This is an example of what we are receiving from our present representatives. All wind! Time for new blood!
