McKeever makes dean’s list

Madysen McKeever, Schroeder, qualified for the winter semester dean’s list at North Dakota State University with a 3.60 GPA.

She is majoring in Pre-Veterinary Technology with a minor in Equine Science.

Madysen is the daughter of Don and Tina McKeever, Schroeder.

Gesch qualified for dean’s list at Gustavus Adolphus College

Linnea Gesch, Grand Marais, qualified for the 2019 Gustavus Adolphus College spring semester dean’s list.

To qualify students must maintain a 3.7 grade point average (based on a scale in which 4.0 = A) or higher for the semester ending in May 2019.

Linnea is the daughter of Jason and Malin Aseby- Gesch, Grand Marais.

Marin Hay named to Bethel University dean’s list

Marin Hay, a senior at Bethel University in St. Paul, has been named to the dean’s list for academic excellence for the spring 2019 semester. She is the daughter of Mary and John Hay of Grand Marais.

The dean’s list honors students who achieve an outstanding scholastic record during a semester with a grade point average of 3.6 or greater.

Sean MacDonell earns academic honors from Carleton College

Sean MacDonell of Grand Marais was recognized May 31 at Carleton College’s Honors Convocation.

MacDonell received the following honor: Dale and Elizabeth Hanson Fellowship in Ethics.

A cherished Carleton tradition, Honors Convocation draws the campus community together to celebrate the academic accomplishments of Carleton students and faculty. The event begins and ends with a full academic procession, including faculty emeriti, honors students, and recipients of awards and grants.

Sean is the son of Tim MacDonell and Grace Bushard of Grand Marais.
