Seaton graduates from St. Olaf
Benjamin Seaton recently graduated from St. Olaf College with a degree in phycology.

Ben is the son of David and Nancy Seaton, Gunflint Trail.
Local students named to dean’s list at St. Olaf College
. Carl (Joey) Chmelik of Grand Marais, biology major, was named to the St. Olaf College dean’s list for the spring semester. Carl is the son of Michael and Teresa Chmelik. . Twyla Pedersen, who is majoring in social work, was named to the St. Olaf College dean’ list for the spring semester. Twyla is the daughter of David and Leslie Pedersen, Grand Marais. . William Seaton, a graduate of East High School, Duluth, son of David and Nancy Seaton of the Gunflint Trail, was named to the dean’s list at St. Olaf College for the spring semester. The dean’s list recognizes students with a semester grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4-point scale.
Colin Everson named to dean’s list at the University of Minnesota, Morris
Colin Everson of Grand Marais has been named to the University of Minnesota, Morris dean’s list for the spring 2017 semester.
To be eligible for the dean’s list students must achieve a grade point average of 3.66 or higher while taking 12 or more credits, two-thirds of these credits on the A-F grading system.
Colin is the son of Mitch and Cindy Everson of Grand Marais.
