The annual Oh Ole Night Christmas parade will start at 5:30 p.m. (Friday, Nov. 29) on Wisconsin Street with two loops around town and end with a rousing finish at Harbor Park for a tree lighting ceremony and some singing. There will be fireworks over the harbor after the tree lighting. DJ Beavstar will emcee the event with cookies from Crosby Bakery available for munching. Murray the Moose will be strolling through the crowd, meeting and greeting kids of all ages. Don’t let Murray steal your cookie!
Excited and exuberant children who would like to meet Santa Claus and his sweet, friendly sled dogs need to scamper over to Stone Harbor Wilderness Supply before the parade kicks off. Don’t forget to tell Santa what you want for Christmas!
