Christmas Eve and Christmas Day worship services offered




Does your holiday family tradition include attending a
special Christmas Day or Christmas Eve worship service? The
following is a list of Christmas services and events provided
by local churches to the Cook County News-Herald.

Bethlehem Lutheran: Tuesday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve Service, 5 p.m.;
Candlelight Service, 10 p.m.

Cornerstone Community Church: Tuesday, Dec. 24, Candlelight
Christmas Eve Service, 4:30 p.m.

First Congregational United Church of Christ: Tuesday, Dec. 24,
Christmas Eve Service, 5:30 p.m.

Life in Christ Lutheran Church: Tuesday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve Worship
Service and Children’s Program at the Cook County Community Center,
6:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Dec. 25, Christmas Day Worship Service with Holy
Communion at the Cook County Community Center, 10 a.m.

Lutsen Evangelical Lutheran Church: Tuesday, Dec. 24, Lutsen
Community Christmas Eve Worship, 7 p.m.

Spirit of the Wilderness Episcopal Church: Tuesday, Dec. 24, Candlelight
Service of Lessons and Carols, 5 p.m. at the historic Maple Hill Church;
Wednesday, Dec. 25, Christmas Day Eucharist, 10 a.m.

St. John’s Catholic Church: Tuesday, Dec. 24, Christmas caroling begins
at 4:30 p.m., Mass at 5 p.m.; Wednesday, Dec. 25, Christmas Mass at 9 a.m.

Holy Rosary Catholic Church: Wednesday, Dec. 25, Christmas Mass at
noon.

Trinity Lutheran (ELCA): Tuesday, Dec. 24, Community Pot Luck, 6 p.m.
followed by Christmas Eve Service, 7 p.m.; Wednesday, Dec. 25, Christmas
Day Service, 10 a.m.

Zoar Lutheran Church: Tuesday, Dec. 24, Candlelight Christmas Eve
Service, 4:30 p.m. We will sing Christmas carols, hear the wonderful
Christmas story, enjoy a children’s message along with the meditation,
and sing Silent Night by candlelight!
