I would like to reply to Geri Jensen’s letter to the editor on July 11.
You always refer to the Old Testament and a God who is vengeful and ruthless. You never refer to what Jesus teaches us in the New Testament, to love and forgive and the promise of an eternal home in heaven.
When I lost my son in a horrific auto accident, one of the things that got me through it was the knowledge I would someday be reunited with Clay in heaven.
Geri, you are entitled to your opinion. You have stated in past letters that you believe in the magic of the rocks and water. The belief in magic is no more factual than faith. You seem to have your beliefs in magic and inanimate objects that have no factual data.
I don’t bash you for your beliefs, but shame on you for so often verbally persecuting those who choose to be Christians.
