Chainsaw for champion from Husqvarna & Steve’s Sports

Lumberjacks—and Lumberjills, like Jenny Atkinson (right) will go head-to-head in an attempt to win a Husqvarna chainsaw.

Friday night July 31st at 7:00 p.m. the Fisherman’s Picnic Lumber Camp is the place to be! Watch professional sawyers square off with Husqvarna 576XP chainsaws in a stock saw contest. This will be head-to-head competition with these huge saws ripping through 20-inch lathe turned white pine straight from the Lumberjack World Championships in Hayward, Wisconsin. Spectators will see local professionals, lumberjacks and lumberjills give it their all. Come and watch the fierce competition as last year’s medal winners fight their way back to the top in this non-stop action! A free chainsaw and $500 in cash prizes will make all competitors work for the big win.

There will be a lot of free Husqvarna, Wood- Mizer, and Central Boiler items thrown out to the crowd so come out and cheer on your favorite lumberjack or lumberjill. Listen to the best chainsaws scream and watch the sawdust fly with these top sawyers in action! Don’t blink!
