The Cook County High School senior class of 2021 threw their caps high into the air at the conclusion of their graduation ceremony. Assistant Principal Mitch Dorr was on the roof above the Eagle Doors speaking to the kids who were gathered outside in the parking lot or on the school lawn following the kids getting their diplomas. No one was admitted to the gym where the seniors received their diplomas except for parents and guardians. The high school band played on the lawn below the parking lot while the diplomas were handed out to one student at a time in the gym.
