Fans of Catlin Nicol-Thomas will get a chance to see this talented Nashville musician/singer/actor perform in the area. Every year after she finishes a family trip into the BWCA Catlin shows up and plays at different venues. Most times there isn’t much notice and folks don’t get a chance to come out and catch her act but this year there was a little lead time, so we have the times and dates to share.
Thursday Sept 8: Cascade Lodge 6-8 p.m. (duo with Al Oikari).
Friday Sept 9: Birch Terrace 4:30-7:30 p.m. (duo with Al Oikari).
Saturday Sept 10: Birch Terrace 4-8 p.m. (full band with Southpaws).
Sunday Sept 11: Gunflint Tavern 2-6 p.m. (full band with Southpaws).
Tuesday Sept 13: North Shore Winery 5-7 p.m. (duo with Al Oikari).
The Southpaws lineup for this run will be Steve Johnson on guitar and vocals, Caitlin Nicol-Thomas on fiddle, acoustic guitar and vocals, Pat Flack on bass, Tom Rich (not sure if he’s related to Buddy Rich) on drums, and Al Oikari on various things that make noise.
