Catching a Musical Wave














The third annual Radio Waves Music Festival, a two-day event was held at the Grand Marais Rec. Park on Friday and Saturday, September 10 -11. The fabulous familyfriendly festival was a partnership between WTIP Community Radio and the North Shore Music Association. Above: Cook County’s Most Wanted—Gary Croft, Al Oikari, Snuffy Smith, Carah Thomas, Rod Dockan, with Rick Brandenburg standing in—rocked the Big Top with their alternative country, country rock, classic rock and more. Right: Timmy Haus played an acoustic eclectic set to get the crowd in the dancing mood.
