This year spring brings added excitement for all at the Care Center with continued progress being made on our new facility.

On February 22 and 23, Marilyn Oelfke RN made a special visit to our facility to talk with staff, residents, families, and the community about the Household Model of care that we will be incorporating in our new facility. She shared her extensive knowledge, and answered many questions.

March brings us longer days and the first day of spring. The residents are looking forward to warmer days ahead. In the meantime, lots of fun is anticipated with St. Patrick’s Day, indoor gardening projects, and the season of Easter.

The residents want to thank all the volunteers who continue to come into the Care Center during the winter months. Because we are somewhat snowbound, the added activities and music you bring to us brightens our days. We realize that the construction has also caused some inconveniences for all of you. Your dedication and talent is very much appreciated by both staff and residents at the Care Center!
