The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic has been participating in a survey about how women in rural areas experience pregnancy and how the place we live impacts our delivery choices. This survey is being done in conjunction with Ely/Essentia and the University of Minnesota.
We are asking all women who were pregnant between 1990 and the current time to please fill out the survey. Mailings went out in mid-November and there was a University of Minnesota return address. There are extra surveys at the Clinic. This is a computer survey and the Clinic also has a computer that can be used to complete the survey. Average completion time is about 10 minutes.
We have about 70 responses so far from about 300 eligible people – and the last day to submit the form is January 31, 2017.
Between Cook County and Ely, there are just over 100 responses out of about 600 eligible mothers. It would be ideal to get another 200 responses.
Questions? Call the Clinic at 387-2330 and the front desk staff can get you the answer.
