Calling all Cook County mothers!

If you were pregnant in Cook County between 1990 and 2016 (and have had your baby), the Sawtooth Clinic would like to know what your experience was like. A survey has been developed in collaboration with Sawtooth Mountain Clinic, Ely/Essentia Clinic, and the University of Minnesota. The beginning of this idea came from our community by individual stories told to Nathan Ratner, a medical student who has worked with the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic.

Now we need you to add your voice to the conversation about how pregnancy is experienced in rural communities. We want all mothers, wherever the delivery happened – as long as you had your pregnancy experience in Cook County.

A survey has been mailed out to all the women we could track through the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic. Please watch for an envelope with a return address from the University of Minnesota. The survey is online – if you do not have access to a computer please stop by the Clinic and our front desk staff can help set you up. If you do not get an envelope in the next week stop by at the Clinic or call 387-2330 and we can make sure you get one.
