Jeff Cadwell
The public is invited to wish Sue and Jeff Cadwell farewell on Monday, October 14, 4:30 p.m. at Voyageur Brewing Company, 233 Highway 61, Grand Marais. Light refreshments and cash bar. Cook County Administrator Cadwell is leaving to become the first county administrator in Mahnomen County.
Cadwell served as Cook County administrator for the past four years, replacing the late Jay Kieft, who died of cancer after serving only a year as administrator. During this time Cadwell balanced the budget, brought a sense of stability to county departments and worked tirelessly to insure the residents of Cook County’s public service needs were met.
Cadwell also chaired the Cook County Community Fund’s advisory board, volunteered at the YMCA and was active with the curling club, men’s golf leagues and local running and cycling groups.
