If there is such a thing as a rock star of “Cabinology,” Dale Mulfinger is that person.
Mulfinger, architect and author of Cabinology and The Architecture of Edwin Lundie, will be presenting a talk about “cabinology” and the work of Edwin Lundie at the Cross River Heritage Center in Schroeder at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18. His talk is free to the public.
Mulfinger is at the Cross River Heritage Center as part of the sixth annual Lundie Vacation Home Tour sponsored by the Schroeder Area Historical Society.
Dale Mulfinger co-founded SALA Architects as Mulfinger & Susanka Architects in 1983. SALA has received numerous awards, including MN AIA Firm of the Year and Residential Architect Rising Star. Mulfinger received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota in 1967 where he is currently a Professor in Practice in the College of Design. His professional background includes the Architects Collaborative of Cambridge, Massachusetts and Brown Daltus of Rome, Italy. He is a frequent lecturer to both laymen and scholars, with venues including many schools of architecture in the United States and at several national AIA state conventions.
The sixth Annual Lundie Vacation Home Tour is a fundraiser for the Schroeder Area Historical Society. The cost of the Lundie Tour is $150 and is considered a donation to the Schroeder Area Historical Society. For information about the tour, contact the Heritage Center at (218) 663-7706.
