University of Minnesota Extension Educator John Bennett will teach an afternoon workshop on “Business Websites from Simple to Complex” from 1 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Cook County Higher Education’s North Shore Campus in Grand Marais. Cost of the workshop is $10.
Starting a website doesn’t have to be an intimidating process; there are some great options for business owners to explore. For some, the free-and-easy option is best. Others may require extensive customization with a unique design and features. And there are many options in between.
This three-hour, hands-on workshop will teach participants about the options available and their costs. Participants will learn tips related to working with web designers and programmers and get a grasp on costs. Participants will have an opportunity to explore websites at all levels of complexity to determine the best options for their needs.
To register for the workshop, email highered@northshorecampus.org or call 387-3411. You also may register online at northshorecampus.org until Monday, Feb. 13. If you have a laptop computer, bring it with you to the workshop.
