Business Network Luncheon will drive your sales

Amber and Jason Wick will present Driving your Sales through Networking
at the Cook County Business Network Luncheon in Grand Marais on Wednesday, September 29.

Particularly in today’s economy, networking is a simple and inexpensive way to build sales, contacts, and confidence. The Wicks built their entire business by cultivating strong networks. They will share how to set networking goals, network with a purpose, follow-up effectively, and increase your sales through networking activities.

In a change from previous luncheons which were called the “Women’s Business Networking Luncheon,” all business owners—men and women—interested in learning more about increasing sales through effective networking are invited to attend this luncheon. This change was made at the request of a number of male business colleagues who believed the workshops would also be interesting and beneficial for them. Current participants are encouraged to bring a male colleague to the lunch. In honor of this change, men attending this September event may attend for free.

The Cook County Business Network luncheon (formerly the Women’s Business Networking Luncheon) is sponsored by Cook County Higher Education and the Women’s Business Network at Northeast Entrepreneur Fund.

The presentation and lunch will be held on Wednesday September 29 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at TheWild Onion restaurant in Grand Marais. The cost for the luncheon and presentation is $12. For more information and to preregister, please call Cook County Higher Education at 387-3411.
