Business class offered at Cook County Higher Education




Local business owners who want to learn about changes in employment law, how to avoid employee conflict, and how to set up a constructive conflict resolution method in their workplace should attend the February 9 class offered at Cook County Higher Education.

Stacy Johnson, the owner and solutions specialist of Audacity, LLC, a human resources consulting firm in Duluth will teach a four-hour class called Employment Law Update and Conflict Resolution on Thursday, February 9, from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cook County Higher Education.

Johnson is a licensed attorney and skilled human resources (HR) professional with experience working in higher education, business, and nonprofits. She is also an adjunct instructor at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She is SHRM-CP/PHR certified and on the boards of the Northland Human Resource Association and Association for Training and Development in Duluth.

Cost is $20 per person, which includes materials, program and box lunch.
