I would like to personally thank all those who supported my candidacy for Cook County commissioner, especially those who voted for me in District 2. In talking with so many of you, I gained more respect for how concerned our citizens are about our community. I have worked all over the country in big systems and there is nothing that compares to the opportunity to be a public servant working for you in Cook County. I am humbled, yet proud to work for the betterment of a community that I am so grateful to call “home.”
I have learned we have great county staff and I look forward to working with fellow commissioners that I respect. I would like to thank Garry Gamble for his service and he has set high standards for a work ethic, which I will try to continue. Best wishes for your future endeavors Garry, you have many talents to share.
