Where are the fish biting?

According to Buck’s Hardware, local anglers have been having good luck in the following areas:

Walleyes are biting on Homer Lake in Lutsen. They have been found scattered in 15′ of water on jig and chub.

On Devil Track Lake in Grand Marais, 16-17″ walleyes have been caught on Rapalas next to shore in the evening.

In Lutsen, Crescent Lake anglers have had luck using jigs and minnows on rock piles.

On Lake Saganaga, fishermen have been catching walleyes in various depths ranging from 6′ to 12′ and 25′ using jigs and minnows. Lake trout have been caught at about 2′ on jigs and ciscos.

No report on brook or rainbow trout.
