On Devil Fish Lake, they have been caught trolling at 18-feet using a Lindy Rig and leeches. On Two Island, fish have responded to jig and minnows at 20-feet. They have also been biting on Gunflint Lake in 30-feet of water using a slip bobber and leeches.
Both the Beaver House and Buck’s have heard good reports of walleye fishing on Crescent Lake, in 25-feet of water using leeches or minnows.
Lake Trout have been caught at Tuscarora, Trout (in 40 – 50-feet of water off the bottom, using jig and minnows), Clearwater and South Lake.
There are also reports of good trout fishing on Gunflint and Saganaga, with Buck’s reporting the best fishing at Gunflint in 60-feet of water with spoons suspended at 40 – 45-feet.
The Beaver House has heard that Lake Superior trout have been caught at depths of 70 – 120-feet.
