This year, Buck’s Big Fish Contest had almost fifty participants and would have had more if folks trying to enter the contest had followed the instructions. This was the first year the competition was an online app tournament. The application Bucks used was FishDonkey.
Kids did better than adults at following the entry rules, which required purchasing a $2 Lions Club Fisherman’s Picnic button and then taking a selfie with your button and fish, as the fish was measured. Unfortunately, some adults that had caught some nice trophy brook trout lost out because they didn’t follow the new rules. Oh well, there is always next year.
