Boys’ game cancelled because referees had COVID

With the omicron variant rearing its ugly head across the county and state, both the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams have had games cancelled. Teams have missed games because either our players are sick or been in contact with someone who has COVID, or the other team has had the same situation.

However, on Saturday, January 15, the boy’s home game against Hill City was cancelled because the referees were out with COVID. Viking Head Coach Andy Feddema announced that the teams will look to reschedule the game at a later date.
