Boys fall to Northland

The Cook County High School boys’ basketball team ran into a very tough Northland Eagles team at home on Saturday, February 12, and fell 69-32. Northland is located in Remer, Minnesota.

After the game Viking’s Head Coach Andy Feddema said, “They are a very good team, and they really controlled the pace. They ran transition very effectively, and we didn’t have an answer. Our guys played hard all game, we had some young players step up and give us good quality minutes. Paul Dorr led us with 10 points, Derek Smith had five points, three assists, and three steals. Recko Helmerson-Skildum had six points and 10 rebounds. He did a nice job of working against their big post, I’m very pleased with Recko’s work on the boards. Jacob Dorr added four points and five assists. Amos Falter had four points, and Rohan Rude added a three.”
