Calling all videographers! Local Internet provider Boreal Access’s community video site has been nominated for recognition in the 2010 Reinventing Minnesota – Minnesota Community Pride Competition.
In the very near future, Boreal Access will learn if the project has progressed to the second phase of the judging, which will be online voting at the news site www.minnpost.com.
If Boreal Access fans have a good video that showcases something wonderful about the North Shore community or its people, go to video.boreal.org and submit a link.
Did you capture some good video of the Grand Marais Arts festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, or Fisherman’s Picnic? Thinking about shooting video of the upcoming skateboarding expo? Tell Boreal Access about it so it can be shared with the community.
During the month of August Boreal Access will feature the best videos in the collection so that the contest judges and community voters will see our best side.
For those local artists/videographers wondering how much exposure or publicity their work is receiving, Boreal Access’s statistics show that the videos linked to the Boreal video site are receiving great boosts in viewer numbers.
Submit your best videos and help Boreal Access obtain funding to buy more video cameras and offer classes in how to create your own on-line videos.
