Grand Marais Dairy Queen sold 260 Blizzards on Thursday, May 26, with one dollar from each sale going to the Cook County High School Athletic Booster Club, said Rob Hackett.
“Another $75 came in on donations,” said Hackett, owner/operator of the Dairy Queen.
When it was all added up, the Booster Club received $335 from the sweet treat fundraiser.
“We’re just glad we can help,” Hackett said.
The Cook County Booster Club raises funds to enhance the quality of the student-athletes’ experience on the field or court at Cook County High.
