There will be “Blazing Food Trails” training on Friday, Jan. 24 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Cook County Community Center in Grand Marais.
This is a free workshop that will include lunch. If you are wondering about selling food items, whether you need a license, how all of this works – this is a great workshop for you.
Jane Jewett will be the instructor and by attending, you will also receive four continuing education credits if you are already in food service.
In the afternoon from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. there will be training on how to use the SQUARE. This is an on-line service for your customers and you to use credit cards and expand your ability to sell items and food at a mobile market or Farmers’ Market.
Pre-register so the staff knows how many lunches to provide.
