Come enjoy the spring warbler birding migration on the North Shore. Sedna Cedarstone, master naturalist and longtime (20 years) birder, will take curious beginner level birders on two separate hikes with varied bird habitat and toss in the occasional inspirational bird poem.
On May 19, we will travel to Oberg Mountain, an elevated hike with known sightings of many native and migrating warblers. Bring your binoculars (we will also have some available to loan), sturdy shoes and clothing, water, snack and favorite bird poem if you wish. Visual aids of birds we hope to see will be provided. We will meet at the Sugarloaf Cove Center and drive to the birding site. The starting time is 8 a.m., ending 11 a.m., rain or shine.
Register by May 16, as group size is limited. Cost is $10 per person; $25 per family. Register online at sugarloafnorthshore.org.
