Birch Grove skating rink open nightly

The ice rink in Tofte at the Birch Grove Community Center is open! The rink lights will be on until 10 p.m. every night.

The warming hut has ice skates to borrow. Please put skates neatly on a shelf when done. If you would like to donate usable ice skates, leave them on a shelf in the warming hut.

The township of Tofte appreciates any donation for use of the rink or skates – a donation box can be found inside the warming hut.

Please help to keep the rink open to the public and use it respectfully, leaving it in good condition. Interested in playing pickle ball? Join the West End pickle ball players every Thursday and/or Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Birch Grove Center. If you are not sure what pickle ball is and would like to know more, or if you would like to join other pickle ball players for exercise and fun, call Carroll Peterson at 612-377-8748 or email carrollpeterson3435@yahoo.com.
