The big storm predicted for December 14 and 15 caused many events to be cancelled. The courthouse was closed on December 14 and meetings across the area cancelled or moved ahead on the calendar.
At Birchgrove Community School the winter musical was pushed to Tuesday, December 20 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. The Scholastic Holiday Bookfair will open after each performance noted Birch Grove Community School Diane Blanchette.
