Children got to try on firefighter gear, hop on the fire trucks and try their hand at running the fire hose. According to Diane Blanchette of Birch Grove, “Fun was had be all!”

All of the children got fire safety books, fire hats and a special treat.

Blanchette said, “Birch Grove School would like to thank the West End Fire and Safety squad for continuing to come here year after year and share with our students. And special thanks to Louise Trachta for her many years of service as well as her many years of sharing with our students!”
