Birch Grove Community School will be holding a public meeting on Wednesday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Birch Grove Community School. Administrator Diane Blanchette said the school is inviting the public to this meeting to provide information and understanding of the school’s history, programs and services offered, as well as its successes and challenges.
Blanchette said school board members intend to ask for financial support from the townspeople of Lutsen, Tofte and Schroder at the annual township meetings in March 2015.
Following a presentation, there will be time for a question and answer session with the school board members.
Tours of the school space are available from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. prior to the start of the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Free childcare services (ages 3 to 5th grade) will be offered from 6:30 until the meeting end.
Blanchette said, “All townspeople from Lutsen, Tofte and Schroeder are highly encouraged to attend. We look forward to sharing with you.”
