Regarding coverage in the Cook County News-Herald, I would like it corrected to state that Mattefy Engineering of New Brighton designed the site work, tennis court and hockey rink as a consultant to Meyer Group, who holds the contract with the Tofte Township on the overall Birch Grove Community Center improvements.
Meyer Group is diligently working with the township board and Cook County commission and ORB Management, to resolve issues there and is working with the township and will continue to do so until the work there is satisfactory and acceptable to the township and county. Meyer Group’s role was that of project manager and architect on the design team.
We seem to be getting blamed for many things we has not done or not responsible for and are not getting credit for amount of time spent on follow up of issues there. We are committed to following through on issues experienced there.
It should also be reported that these issues are correctable and that the overall project has been very successful.
