The appropriately named Cook County Booster Club boosts the morale of local athletes by supporting their activities.
The club has helped Cook County High School teams buy warm-up clothing, equipment and much more. The Booster Club also raised funds and found volunteer labor to build the beautiful black-ash trophy case in the hallway outside the high school gymnasium.
The Booster Club is an independent, volunteer support group for all co-curricular activities in School District 166 schools.
One way to help the Booster Club fulfill its mission is to volunteer at the concession stand during home games.
For more information on the Booster Club and/or the concession stand, contact Kelly Roberts at (218)370-0686 or Jean Mathis at (218)387-1000 (daytime), (218)387-1068 (evenings), or mathis@boreal.org.
Another way to support the Cook County Vikings is by becoming a Booster Club member! To join the Cook County Booster Club, just send $10 for a family membership or $5 for an individual membership to PO Box 866, Grand Marais MN 55604.
